Motivational Monday! Thought of the day: In the past, I've found strength in my pain. Nowadays, I am finding strength in my resilience. It’s been so hard!! But I am trying!! It’s a battle. But I refuse to give up! And like most, I am am trying to remind myself, that it’s the end of a really shitty year, and hopefully it will bring us a better new year to reset. I am trying to be hopeful and I know this process will take time and continued perseverance for us all. I mean we still have a pandemic that’s not trying to leave.. I think we all have things that we want and we want to see results now. With wanting to go out again, wanting to see friends again, wanting to get back to our workouts, or jobs, finances, relationships, our hopes and dreams. Whatever it is that we want, the wait is always the hard part. But if your dreams and goals are worth it, keep hanging in. And don't just hang in, try your best to smile through it. Someday this perseverance will be useful to you. So let’s not allow ourselves to give up this time. Keep your head up. Feel like quitting? I know, I do too, but let’s shut that shit down. Keep pressing on. Keep smiling. It's our choice. I will try and keep at my goals even though I’m struggling with depression. I am reminding myself that my future is bright. So is yours.
